The book is a collection of poetry and poetic style prose aimed at providing input to young people around the world about the wonder of Allah's Creation; about love for the seas, oceans and mountains; trees, rivers, animals, insects, plants and vegetation.
Bearing in mind that there are vast individual differences in young people's language development, specifically in their ability to read and comprehend what is read, this book is a humble effort to reach out to those who may find something suited to their level of linguistic maturity more appealing. Author: Prof Dr Safiah Osman
Dr Safiah was the founder member and first President of the Malaysian Reading Association, affiliated to the International Reading Association. She was the recipient of the National Union of Graduate Teachers Book Prize and the Mary Ellen Galluci Award given by the American Association of University Women, Washington DC, USA.
Dr Safiah was a Professor of Language Education at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Later, she joined the University Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjung Malim, Perak, Malaysia as Professor of Language Education and also held the post of Director for International Relations before her retirement in 2004.
